As your body changes, your posture, pelvis and ligaments change with it. Many pregnant patients find gentle chiropractic care helps them feel more comfortable day to day. Dr. Andre Okafor is Webster certified and uses pregnancy-safe tables and positions at every stage.
What it feels like
An ache low in the back, sharp pain at the back of the pelvis, pain in the front of the pelvis when walking or turning in bed, or sore hips at night.

Common questions
Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?
For most pregnancies, gentle chiropractic care is considered low risk. We always review your pregnancy first and coordinate with your provider when needed.
Will I have to lie face down?
No. We use side-lying positions, bolsters and pregnancy pillows.
What about after birth?
Postpartum visits focus on the back, pelvis and the strain of feeding and carrying a newborn.
