Shoulder Pain
Shoulders
4–8 visits over 4–6 weeks
First visit $59, 60 minutes
Shoulder pain can start in the shoulder itself, the rotator cuff or the joint capsule, or travel down from the neck and upper back. We look at the whole chain, then combine joint work, soft tissue and progressive strengthening so the shoulder has room to move again.
What it feels like
A pinch when you reach overhead, aching on the outside of the upper arm, pain when you lie on that side at night, or stiffness putting on a jacket.
How we help
A few simple movement tests usually tell us whether to focus on the shoulder, the neck, or both.
Shoulder, neck and shoulder-blade movement testing
Mobilization of the shoulder, ribs and upper back
Soft-tissue work for the rotator cuff and chest
Band exercises you can do at home or at the gym
Common questions
Is it my neck or my shoulder?
Sometimes both. Your exam checks each one so we treat the right place.
Should I stop lifting?
Not always. We adjust your program so you keep training without aggravating it.
What if it doesn’t improve?
If progress stalls after a few visits, we refer you for imaging or to an orthopedic specialist.
