Dr. Maya Lindqvist has spent years working with Denver runners, climbers and lifters. Most sports injuries are overuse problems: tissue asked to do a little more than it was ready for. We treat the painful area, find the weak link, and build a return-to-sport plan with clear milestones.
What it feels like
Pain that shows up at the same point in every run, a tweak that never fully settled, soreness that lasts days instead of hours, or a joint that feels unstable under load.
How we help
We watch you move the way your sport asks you to, then treat what we find and plan your return week by week.
Sport-specific movement assessment
Adjustments, soft-tissue work and dry needling where appropriate
A load plan for your training week
Return-to-sport milestones instead of guesswork
Common questions
Do I have to stop training?
Rarely completely. We modify your training so you stay active while things heal.
Do you work with teams?
Yes. We see high school, club and recreational athletes from across Denver.
What about a fresh, serious injury?
Suspected fractures, dislocations or head injuries need urgent medical care first. We can help with rehab afterward.
This page is general information, not a diagnosis. Results vary from person to person. Sudden weakness, numbness in the groin or loss of bladder or bowel control needs emergency care. Call 911.
